There's no denying Sony have expanded their system to cover most bases and have a huge market lead in full frame mirrorless.
By all reports, Sony have been actively holding back on releasing new camera tech. simply because they could afford to wait and see what the other brands would come up with. Given the Canon EOS R and Nikon Z are both at-best competent but unexciting efforts so far, it will be interesting to watch Sony unleash over the next year or two. Both the A9 and A7RIII are pretty much due for a replacement it seems...
